All of her painting supplies were destroyed in the first watery landing on the islands. Actually ‘fixing’ the positions of areas of the planet newly discovered by him, on a map became Syd’s ultimate ambition. The book is not constructed in a strictly chronological sequence, and is all the more an interesting read partly because of that, but also for the related historical insights the author blends into the various phases of Syd’s life and career. While this book reads like a detailed technical history, it will still interest every SR-71 enthusiast. It just seems like the author could have taken a little bit more time to clarify a few of the algorithms, but otherwise from my knowledge the author is one of the leading experts in the field and there is some really good information in this book. I am using the AutoCAD 2012 for Mac and if you are using it as well their is quite a difference in the look, so you may need to reference the internet or Help tools in AutoCAD for Ma

"the book is excellent for teaching the subject of information hiding or security related courses. It enhances the landscape of textbooks on the subject. I am convinced that it will grip the reader as it touches on the most important aspects of steganography and steganalysis." - Wojciech Mazurczyk, IEEE Communications Magazine

Her main research interests are in steganography and steganalysis of digital media, digital watermarking, and digital image forensics. She also received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Research in 2007 and Award for Outstanding Inventor in 2002. Jessica Fridrich is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton University, State University of New York (SUNY), where she has worked since receiving her PhD from there in 1995.

. Since then, her research on data embedding and steganalysis has led to more than 85 papers and seven US patents

This clear, self-contained guide shows you how to understand the building blocks of covert communication in digital media files and how to apply the techniques in practice, including those of steganalysis, the detection of steganography. The book is ideal for students taking courses on steganography and information hiding, and is also a useful reference for engineers and practitioners working in media security and information assurance.. Experiments on real media files demonstrate the performance of the techniques in real life, and most techniques are supplied with pseudo-code, making it easy to implement the algorithms. Assuming only a basic knowledge in calculus and statistics, the book blends the various strands of steganography, including information theory, coding, signal estimation and detection, and st
