This is currently my favorite childrens book that we own for my 15-month old. I liked it!. The 400 recipes range from traditional Jewish dishes (kugels, blintzes, fruit compotes, borschts) to vegetarian versions of Jewish holiday staples (cholent, kishke, schnitzel) to appetizers, soups, main courses, and desserts. Basically just rehashes what everyone already knows.If this book were written in the mid90s i would have recommended it to more people. Does that make him a reliable source? No. I recommend this to all who enjoy fantasy series with political intrigue and mysterious/legendary cities. She still has occasional visions, but this thread seems to fall off.This novel would be interesting to those interested in South American culture and recent history, particularly the era of the Guerra Sucia, or Dirty War. Good read on how gender and sexuality is defined in the south east. Beales pulls no punches.
