It is ultramodern, even more complete, clearer, highly illustrated, better structured, contains any detail to be imagined with an incredible exactitud. The details are easily read and the photos are strong identification aids.. I found myself hate-reading it by the time I stopped.It is not to say that the wAs a young writer in the punk years, Salewicz had plenty of access to Strummer, and does a good job of providing a blow-by-blow account of the tours and albums.
