These are two different books by the same author.'Raising Horses' has great information about stabling and pasturing horses which includes why horses are more comfortable in a herd situation, etc. But though she wraps the love story in suspense and mystery, Bourne never takes her eyes off Adrian and Justine. The book provides an outline for the research needed to use adhesives for bonding metals. It's a theme that Bourne explores in depth.Adrian and Justine's 24-year journey, told in a series of flashbacks, is so poignant and moving (I challenge you to get through the first lovemaking scene without choking up) that I missed many of the clues to the conspiracy that Bourne sneakily embeds in the lovers' history.
