One chapter ends in 1973, the next commences in 2006. I needed this book for school and was able to purchase it at half the price it was through school. Future generations may encounter this novel in graduate school. Great theories, but throughout the book it continuously points to figures, which are all absent from this electronic version. I liked it!. This is the only book I have found that was written for the high, dry deserts of our area. Just as good as the first! Captures you and you can't put the book down! I'm getting the third book right now! Good character building and nice twist!. If you have time to really prepare properly save your money and dont bother with this one.. There are, however, some weaknesses.
