But what was totally unexpected was the disk inserted into the back of the book. I read it all in one sitting, but read it again to review the key points. Everything was awesome. Something not highlighted in any of the comments I've seen on this book is that it contains a .res to .rc conversion utility which I think alone is worth the price of the book.. His passion for tortoises, his anger and grief at their extermination from their natural habitats, and the conservation measures he proposes are presented clearly and convincingly. I was pushing off WPF all these days only because XAML was getting in the way of my learning. Microsoft does not, and by all accounts never will, support C standards past C89.
