Reading throughout, I couldn’t help recalling Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things, another lone novel from a political activist. Norman Howell, one of F1's best journalists, provides an excellent insight into how a Formula One team is assembled, organized and managed. Besides going into lengthy, irrelevant detail about the lives of people having absolutely nothing to do with the murder (i.e., Neva Gerber, Julia Crawford Ivers, etc.), Higham rambles endlessly, repeating himself often while at the same time curiously managing to contradict himself. This book takes you away into a whole new world. This tile, the seventh of the "Snapshot Biography series" presents an up-close, personalized view of the life of a great man who has changed the face of magic. Not as idealistic as the Scarlet Pimpernel. Again, it gave the basics on Insulin Resistance but it just didn't seem to have quite as much info as I would have liked. This is not a book to give to young children I got this book for a 3 year old but did not give it to her some of the pics are a bit to graphic..
