But for me, an old aeronautical engineer, the most interesting section was the ten pages of discussion and drawings of the prolusion system. This is a great book! I discovered this book after buying a used copy of Michael Preston's "Medical Hypnotherapy" VHS video course on eBay. Outstanding graphs, analogies ,coupled with an eazy to understand vennacular. After all, it was unthinkable that a not yet qualified surveyor, just turned 22, a previous victim of polio carrying a residual limp, should get the job; but he did.It was the height of the cold war, and Australia was especially sensitive about its largely unrecognised ambit claim over 42% of Antarctica’s icy wastes. The author has gone through so much in her lifeFinally, he goes on to describe a new system of prediction which, in his opinion, could save thousands of lives.. Part of a series which aims to inform non-specialists about recent scientific developments, this book argues that earthquake prediction could save a great many lives. The author provides a survey of plate tectonics and earthquake dynamics and goes on to say why current prediction methods are inadequateLanguage Notes Text: English (translation) Original Language: French
