Indeed, the final section, "Ghosts Doing the Orange Dance," is probably the best thing he's ever written. But it also provides a cost for the disposal of bulky but less recyclable materials which tend to be abandoned as litter. In my opinion, anyone interested in the William Desmond Taylor murder case would do better with the two previous books written on the subject: A Deed of Death by Robert Giroux and A Cast of Killers by Sidney D.
